Criminal Justice Minor Courses

The 18-credit minor consists of:

  • Three compulsory courses: Politics of Crime & Justice (POLS 3827 [255]); Criminology (SOCI 2301 [216]); and Abnormal Psychology (PSYC 2300 [245]);
  • An internship in a criminal justice setting; and
  • At least t wo further relevant courses from an approved list.

A maximum of three credits in the minor can count towards a major, and 12 to 15 credits can constitute the related area courses.

Further details are summarized in the University's course catalog.

If you plan a Criminal Justice Minor, you must file a final plan of study for the minor with the IISP Office within the first three weeks of your final semester.

Please note: There are other courses on campus that might be interesting to a student following a criminal justice minor plan of study.
