Scholarship Information
  • If you are a first year student or sophomore, doing very well in your classes, and are active in organizations outside the classroom, then you should talk with the Director of National Scholarships. There are a number of competitive national scholarships that can help you finish your undergraduate degree or fund one or more years of graduate study.

  • Rotary International offers international scholarships to undergraduates and for graduate school abroad. For details, see Rotary International's website. (For 2009-10 scholarships, application materials will be available in Fall 2007 and applications may be due as early as Spring 2008.)
  • UConn's Women's Center has announced the granting of the 100 Years of Women Scholarship Award for the 14th year! Established in 1992 to honor a current UConn undergraduate or graduate student (or a high school senior planning to enroll in UConn) who has demonstrated a commitment to women's issues through service in their community or school, scholarship awards range from $500 to $1,000. For scholarship application materials, please click here. Application deadline is March 21, 2008.
  • UConn's Puerto Rican/ Latin American Cultural Center has announced a scholarship opportunity to honor a current UConn student who has demonstrated a commitment to Latino issues through leadership and service to the community. The scholarship award is for up to $1,000. For more information about this scholarship, click here. Application deadline is April 9, 2008.
